Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility

The NSL Group is committed to nation-building, by reshaping the real estate and nation-wide infrastructural landscape through its sustainable, innovative and landmark constructions all over India. Over the years, NSL has actively worked towards the upliftment and development of underprivileged sections of our society. This dedication to societal contribution has been made possible through MANDAVA FOUNDATION, founded by Sri M. Venkat Ramaiah, Smt Ms. Mandava Rama Devi, Sri M. Prabhakar Rao, Smt Ms. Mandava Asha Priya, Sri, G. V. Purnachandra Rao and Dr. Mandava Gangadhar Rao.

NSL works closely with the Mandava Foundation to implement strong programmes for the development, education and healthcare of the weaker section. The organization has set up a Core Committee for Corporate Social Responsibility to spearhead efforts to integrate social responsibility concerns into the company’s values, culture, operations and business decisions, at all levels of the organization.

The Implementation Strategy

  • The group relies on a participatory approach in all its projects to ensure the involvement of rural communities and other community-level initiatives.
  • The trust drives the participation of locally elected bodies like the Gram Panchayat (village council), Co-operative Societies, Self-Help Groups, and Women and Youth Clubs in decision-making.
  • The group undertakes large-scale human resource development projects in agriculture, animal husbandry, dairy, horticulture, health, education and income generation to accelerate development activities.
  • Once a village achieves 80% development as per the company’s derived social indicators, the group disengages and becomes a non-active participant until they need further assistance or guidance. This is to cover as many villages as possible and set up a self-sustaining system of development there.
