With businesses on one end of the city and affordable housing on the other, commuting is an integral part of everyone’s life. As the government works steadily to bridge this gap by providing multiple public transportation services, urban commuting time, convenience and comfort have been barriers to acceptance. 

Noida and the Greater Noida region have enjoyed the limelight for the several infrastructure projects drafted (Noida-Jewar Airport), metro rail and efficient road connectivity. Yet again, they add another feather to the hat with the announcement of two bullet train stations that address the time issue with urban commuting. 

NHSRCL had introductory discussions with the Gautam Budh Nagar administration over two land requirements for constructing these bullet train stations – one in the popular and emerging IT Hub: Noida, sector 144 and the other at the Noida Airport Terminal One in Jewar. 

What will be the impact of this on Real Estate? 

The demand for projects within the vicinity of these stations would immediately go up and, their appreciation would be phenomenal as it would happen with any such infrastructural developments. 

For commercial businesses in and around Sector 144, this implies better connectivity opportunities for their employees. With Jewar International Airport and the upcoming infrastructure projects, Sector 144 is about to see a boom and yet another reason to retain its title: ‘The IT HUB of Noida.’
